GunVault Collaboration

The Armory Project partners with Cannon Security Products and their GunVault brand of quick-access gun safes. This collaboration will make secure firearm storage more accessible and affordable for responsible gun owners who want to prevent firearm misuse, accidents, theft, and suicide. Right now, this program is only available through a few firearm retailers in Louisiana, but we hope to make it more widely available in the future.

Why This Matters

Help Prevent Negative Outcomes with Firearms

  • Storing firearms in a secure device like GunVault’s quick access safe prevents unauthorized access to firearms and still allows for quick access when needed.

  • If you are going through mental health challenges, creating time and distance between yourself and a loaded firearm can save your life. These devices offer creative options to add more time and distance, such as asking a trusted friend or family member to change the code and/or biometric identifier to temporarily limit your access to the firearm(s) during a time of increased suicide risk.

  • Whether protecting your family or reducing access in a moment of crisis, where you store your firearms matters.

  • We’ve partnered with Cannon Security Products to reduce the cost of secure storage and with Walk the Talk America to promote messages about the importance of storing guns responsibly.

  1. Visit or contact one of the participating firearm retailers listed below.

  2. Ask about the The Armory Project x Cannon Security Products discount program.

  3. If you qualify, receive a code for a discounted GunVault product.

  4. Use the code online at GunVault.com and have it shipped to directly to you.

  5. Provide your voluntary and optional feedback through a brief survey and be entered to win a gift card to one of our participating firearm retail partners.
